What we collect

On every page we count the visit: which page, which site you came from, the country, the type of device, the browser, the language, and whether you pressed a button such as “Call us” or “Send request”. This is done by Umami, a program installed on the servers of the company that runs the website (WeSite, Mendrisio), not a third-party service: no cookies, no identifier stored on your device, and your IP address is not kept. It tells us how many people read what, not who you are.

The appointment request — your animal and its name, the reason, the time, whether you are already a client, your name, phone and email, and your message — goes to the clinic, which uses it to fix the appointment and reply to you. The same goes for anything you send us by email. We keep it for as long as that takes.

The server that delivers these pages logs requests as any web server does — IP address, time, page — for security and troubleshooting, for a limited period.

What we do not do

There are no Meta or Google pixels and no Google Analytics, and the map is drawn here, not loaded from Google. We do not sell or pass on data to anyone. The pages talk only to the server that delivers them and to the visit counter.

Your rights

You can ask us what data we hold about you, and have it corrected or deleted, by writing to the address above. The Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) applies.
